About

My Background

My musical adventures began at age six with weekly piano lessons. My training was predominantly classical where my teacher imparted the foundations of good piano technique that have served me well to this day.  After finishing school I studied music at Box Hill Institute of TAFE in Melbourne and was exposed to jazz and contemporary ways of playing.   Since then I have worked as a performer and session musician, playing keyboards, clarinet and accordion with Emaline Delapaix for five years, performing at Port Fairy Music Festival, Federation Square and many other prominent locations around Melbourne.

Most recently I have worked with various Byron Bay musicians, including Renee Searles, and members of Lucknow Sankirtan.  I have also been leading kirtan on a regular basis since the age of 16 and in the last 3 years have toured with Michael Domeyko Rowland, leading chants on harmonium and vocals at his seminars in Adelaide, Cairns, Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Hobart.

In keeping with current industry standards I hold a current Certificate for Self Employed People in child-related employment.  Certificate number: BA58FE/22/03/2012
